AI Bench lets a company hire an AI employee that talks to its candidates and customers. This page says, in plain words, what is stored, why, who sees it, and how to have it removed.
Two kinds of people
- Clients — the companies that sign up and hire an AI employee. They decide what their employee does and what it is told. Under Indian law (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) the client is the data fiduciary for the people their employee talks to; TechInRent processes that data on the client's instructions.
- Candidates and visitors — anyone who talks to an AI employee, applies through a client's link, or whose CV a client adds. If that is you, the company whose name is on the page is responsible for your data, and this page tells you how to reach them.
What is stored
- For candidates and visitors: the name, email and phone you give; the text of your CV if you or the employer add it; the transcript of your conversation with the AI employee; notes the employee makes to do its job (for example, your notice period).
- For clients: account details, the documents and instructions given to each employee, the employee's activity, and approvals.
- Not stored: the CV file itself. A PDF or Word file is turned into text in your own browser; the file never reaches our servers. Voice is transcribed and the audio is not kept.
Why
Only to do the job the client hired the employee for — screen an application, answer a question, book a slot, follow up — and to show the client what its employee did. Data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.
Who else sees it
Processing runs on these services, each under its own agreement with TechInRent: Anthropic (the AI that reads and replies), Groq and Sarvam AI (speech to text and text to speech), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (database), and Vercel (hosting). A client may also connect its own tools — a calendar, a CRM sheet, WhatsApp — in which case data goes there on the client's instruction.
How long
Until the client removes it or closes the account. Clients can remove a candidate's CV, a document, or an employee at any time from their dashboard; closing an account deletes everything in it. Nightly backup snapshots are kept for 14 days and then expire.
Your rights, and how to use them
- If you are a candidate or visitor: ask the company whose employee you spoke to — their name is on the page and in any email you received. They can see, correct or delete what is held about you from their dashboard. If you cannot reach them, write to vibhanshu@techinrent.com and we will pass it on or act on it within 30 days.
- If you are a client: your data is yours. You can export it (HQ backups), delete any part of it, or delete the account and everything in it.
- Nobody is profiled, scored or rejected automatically without a person able to review it: every outgoing action an AI employee takes waits for the client's approval unless the client has switched that action on.
